Overview:

China University of Science & Technology (CUST), formerly known as China Institute of Technology (CHIT), is a private university located in Taiwan. Established in 1968 as "China Junior College of Technology," the institution has undergone several name changes and expansions over the years. It was awarded first rank by the Ministry of Education in 2006 and 2011, and has received various certifications including ISO 9001/2008, ISO 27001 ISMS, and TTQS.

• The university has an Affiliated Institute of Continuing Education, added in 2000.
• The university has an Evening Division of Continuing Education, which was renamed from the night school.
