The American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) is a professional association representing Advanced Practice Midwives (APMs) in the United States, including certified nurse-midwives (CNMs) and certified midwives (CMs). ACNM sets the standard for excellence in midwifery education and practice in the US and supports midwives in developing countries.
