The Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp (ITG) is a Belgian research institution dedicated to advancing science and health worldwide. Established in 1906, ITG focuses on tropical diseases, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and inadequate healthcare, impacting billions globally. Through innovative research, advanced education, professional medical services, and capacity building with partner institutions in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, ITG aims to reduce the global impact of diseases and health issues on populations.

Academic Programs:

ITG offers master's programs, postgraduate certificate programs, and short courses in tropical medicine, international public health, and Global One Health for professionals worldwide.

Other:

ITG operates a specialized clinic focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, travel medicine, tropical medicine, and infectious diseases.
