Students at USMMA, known as Midshipmen, experience a rigorous and structured environment. They participate in a regimental life that includes military training, physical fitness, and leadership development. The academy has a student population of 975 with a 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio. It boasts over 40 registered student organizations and 27 varsity team and intramural sports.
