The United States Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) is a federal service academy located in Kings Point, New York. It is dedicated to educating future leaders of exemplary character who will serve the national security, marine transportation, and economic needs of the United States. Graduates are trained to become licensed Merchant Marine Officers and commissioned officers in the Armed Forces.
