The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) is a renowned institution established in 1998 by the Ghana Ministry of Defence and commissioned in 2004. Located in Accra, Ghana, KAIPTC aims to share Ghana's extensive experience in peace operations with other nations in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) region and across Africa. It is one of three Peacekeeping Training Centres of Excellence mandated by ECOWAS to provide training in peacekeeping and Peace Support Operations (PSO) in Africa.
