Overview:

The Afghanistan National Institute of Music (ANIM) is a co-educational music school based in Kabul, Afghanistan. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Ahmad Sarmast, ANIM is the first and only school of music in the country. Its mission is to provide high-quality music education to Afghan children, regardless of their gender, social background, or ethnicity. ANIM offers training in both Afghan traditional music and Western classical music.
