Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory, formerly known as the Saigon National Music School, was established in 1956. It offers training in both traditional Vietnamese music and Western music, encompassing nearly 20 musical instrument and music theory specializations. The institution has undergone several name changes throughout its history, ultimately becoming Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory in 1981.
