Virginia Theological Seminary (VTS) is a historic Episcopal seminary founded in 1823. It is located in Alexandria, Virginia, and has a rich history spanning two centuries. VTS has played a significant role in the development of the Episcopal Church and American faith, and its timeline reflects key moments in its history, including the Civil War, the ordination of the first Native American Indian graduate, and the first woman graduate.

In 2019, it announced the formation of a reparations program, the first of its kind in higher education.
