Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences (PoAHS) is one of Nepal's nine health science institutions. It is located in Ramghaat, Pokhara, and is recognized as a center of hope for medical education. Established in 2072 BS (2015 AD) through the "Pokhara Health Science Institute Act, 2072," PoAHS was formed by upgrading the Western Regional Hospital into an autonomous teaching and health institution. It aims to contribute to the entire country through medical education, healthcare services, and research.
