• The academy has a Centre of Pre-academy and Additional Training, established in 1992, to prepare applicants for entrance examinations and acclimate them to the academy's educational system.
• All academic programs are conducted in Russian. Foreign students who do not speak Russian are required to attend Preparatory courses at the Centre of Pre-academy Training.
