Overview:

The University of Criminal Investigation and Police Studies (formerly known as the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies) is a Serbian higher education institution dedicated to criminalistics and police studies. Established in 2006, it is the only stand-alone institution in Serbia accredited for criminalistic studies. It is a successor to the Advanced School of Internal Affairs (founded in 1972) and the Police Academy (founded in 1993). The university is a member of the Association of European Police Colleges.
