Course Overview

This distance learning course is designed for graduates across all subject areas who want to gain a comprehensive understanding of psychology. The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and provides a conversion award for those who want to pursue a career in psychology.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants should have at least a second-class honours degree and Maths, English Language & Science GCSE grade C or an equivalent award.
• All applications should be supported by a reference, either academic or professional.
• Applicants should satisfy the English Language requirements, with an IELTS score of 6.5 with no skill below 6.0.

Modules, Teaching, and Learning

The course is delivered through a number of modules, which include:

• Independent study
• Practical research techniques
• Theoretical and methodological approaches
• Cognitive, educational, forensic, clinical, and health psychology

Students will also participate in a week-long residential where they will work alongside their peers in workshops and experiments.

Fees and Funding

• The tuition fee for the year for students entering in 2026/27 is ｣9,830.
• International students will also pay ｣9,830, which is fixed at this level for each year of the course.
• Funding support is available, including a Master's Loan of up to ｣13,206 and a 20% alumni discount.
