Electronic Engineering and Internet of Things (including foundation year) - BEng (Hons)

The Electronic Engineering and Internet of Things (including foundation year) BEng course is designed for students who want to study an undergraduate degree but do not have traditional qualifications or cannot meet the requirements to enter the standard three-year degree. This four-year degree with a built-in foundation year will equip students with fundamental knowledge concerning electronics, mathematical techniques, and computing, as well as vital study skills.

Why study this course?

This course is ideal for students who want to pursue a career in industries that require skills and knowledge related to the Internet of Things and electronics, such as telecommunications, healthcare, and automotives. Throughout the course, students will receive exceptional support from staff, including regular feedback on assessments and progress. There will also be opportunities to work on transferable and employability skills, with interview and job application skills workshops organized by the careers service team.
