Fashion Photography (including foundation year) - BA (Hons)

The Fashion Photography (including foundation year) BA (Hons) course is designed to help students build a portfolio of work and gain the necessary skills to begin an undergraduate degree. This course is ideal for those who want to study photography but don't meet the necessary requirements for the three-year degree or want to polish their skills before embarking on more rigorous study.

Why Study This Course?

Our Fashion Photography (including foundation year) BA (Hons) employs an imaginative approach to teaching to help students explore their potential within different creative practices and guides them towards establishing their own creative direction. Students will end the year with a portfolio of high-quality work, which will evidence all of their newly acquired skills and their growth as a creative practitioner.


Course Structure

The foundation year (Year 0) will incorporate all the art, design, photography, and architecture disciplines at our School of Art, Architecture and Design, so it will be shared with students studying other disciplines at the School. The shared curriculum will incorporate a range of short-term and long-term projects, during which students will gain a range of practical skills.
