Construction Management BSc (Hons)

The Construction Management BSc (Hons) course at London Metropolitan University is designed to develop students into highly skilled construction managers. The demand for expert construction professionals is steadily increasing, both in the UK and internationally.

Entry Requirements

In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, students should have:


  • A minimum of grades CCC in three A levels (or a minimum of 96 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC National, OCR Diploma or Advanced Diploma)
  • English language and mathematics GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)

Accreditation of Prior Learning

Any university-level qualifications or relevant experience gained prior to starting university could count towards the course at London Met. Students can find out more about applying for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL).


Assessment

Assessment for this course will be primarily based on coursework. Students will be tested on key topics covered and their understanding of core concepts. Industry-inspired scenarios will be used as the basis for presenting the types of complex challenges students might be faced with, challenging them to work creatively to develop authentic solutions.


Professional Accreditation

This course is accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Association for Project Management (APM). The University will also be seeking accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Building.
