Introduction to the Health and Social Care Program
The Health and Social Care (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) program at London Metropolitan University is designed to prepare students for a wide range of careers in the health, social care, and wellbeing sectors. Entry Requirements
- At least one A level (or a minimum of 32 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification, eg BTEC/Subsidiary/National/BTEC Extended Diploma)
- GCSE English Language at grade C (grade 4) or above (or equivalent)
Accreditation of Prior Learning
Any university-level qualifications or relevant experience gained prior to starting university could count towards the course at London Met.
English Language Requirements
To study a degree at London Met, students must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the English language. If a Student visa is required, students may need to provide the results of a Secure English Language Test (SELT) such as Academic IELTS.
Assessment
Students will be assessed through seen examinations, short answer papers, practical reports and reviews, case studies, group assessment projects, presentations, essays, and health profiles.
