Program Overview
Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but don’t have the necessary formal qualifications to directly enter their chosen Honours degree programme.
This degree focuses on the fundamental principles of electronic engineering and the programming skills necessary for modern embedded system design. It equips you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive in this rapidly evolving field.
You’ll develop an understanding of current practice in electronic system design, including analogue and digital electronic systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers, IC and FPGA design, signal analysis and conditioning, and interfacing and communications.
