Program Overview

You’ll be taught by tutors with academic and professional experience. The course will develop your ability to understand the Criminal Justice System (CJS) at a conceptual and operational level, incorporating UK and international perspectives.

You’ll analyse social, economic and political influences, including youth, race, gender and the media, to explore how different societies attempt to control crime and offenders. Optional modules will enable you to advance your critical analytical skills in the fields of international criminal law, terrorism, open source Internet investigation and multi-agency Early Action Partnerships.
