Course Schedule

This is a full-time, four-year honors degree program, spanning eight semesters. Continuous assessment occurs throughout the program, with formal examinations at the end of each semester.

Careers:

Graduates of the program are equipped to pursue careers in both business and information technology fields. The interdisciplinary nature of the program prepares students for roles in various industries, such as Google, Citi, Hertz, Dell, BNY Mellon, Electric Ireland, Hewlett Packard, OmniPay, and Realex Payments. Graduates have held diverse roles, including sales, account management, fund accounting, data analysis, and management information reporting. According to the CSO, ICT graduates earn higher weekly salaries compared to graduates from other sectors five years post-graduation.

  • Students have the opportunity to gain practical work experience through a six-month work placement.
  • NCI students have a strong reputation and have successfully secured work experience placements at companies such as Microsoft, O2, ESB, Wells Fargo, Dotmobi, Datalex, and Intel.

Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

Minimum entry requirements are a grade H5 and above in two higher level subjects together with a minimum of O6/H7 in four other subjects. A minimum of grade O6/H7 must be obtained in English. A grade O6/H7 must be obtained in Mathematics.
