Curriculum

The design studies program is structured to provide students with a comprehensive foundation in design research, design thinking and design discourse as they relate to current trends and the future of an ever-evolving world. Emphasizing the ethical and social dimensions of design as a process, product, service and industry, this program offers a mix of core courses and electives that deepen students' understanding of research methodologies, data analysis, design history and interdisciplinary applications. The flexible curriculum allows students to tailor their studies to pursue research-focused roles across design-related fields, preparing them to engage with complex challenges and drive meaningful, responsible innovation.
