About this Program

As a student in this program, you will:


  • Use political theory and empirical analyses to make sense of your world.
  • Interpret political phenomena in the United States and in other areas of the world.
  • Take courses on subjects that include democratization in the Middle East, Chinese politics, immigration and citizenship, the politics of globalization, and more.

Curriculum

To complete the major, students must take 10 courses in political science and choose an area of specialization by taking at least three courses in that area. This curriculum is designed to be flexible so students can spend time away from campus and focus on areas of personal and professional interests.
