BSc(Hons) Nursing (Learning Disabilities)
The BSc(Hons) Nursing (Learning Disabilities) is a three-year undergraduate program designed to graduate students as registered nurses. The program is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and is offered by the University of the West of England.

In the second year, students will study:
- Assessment and Decision Making

- Episodes of Care 3
- Pharmacology and Medicines Management
- Research Methodologies of Nursing Enquiry
- Supporting People with Complex Needs
In the final year, students will study:
- Episodes of Care 4
- Leadership and Supervision
- Nursing Final Project
- Transition to Registration

Entry Requirements
To apply for the program, students will need to meet the following requirements:
- GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
- Tariff points: 112
- English Language Requirement: EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 or above with a minimum of 6.5 in writing, and 7.0 in all other sections of the test (or approved equivalent)

Careers
Registered learning disability nurses are in demand across the UK, so graduates of the program will be highly employable. Graduates can enter careers in a variety of roles for the NHS, private, and voluntary sector employers, in community and hospital settings. With so many new doors opening, this is an exciting time for the learning disability nurse. Once qualified, graduates can also combine clinical work with study on a post-qualifying course, specializing further in a specific area, and progressing to more senior positions.
