Professional Experience Development Record Supervision
Program Overview
UWE offers professional experience supervision for architecture students completing a Professional Experience Development Record (PEDR). Students submit completed PEDR records for review and feedback from the Professional Studies Advisor. The program includes two modules, PEDR Stage 1 and Stage 2, and is available to all architecture students regardless of their university. Supervision is provided via email.

Outline:
UWE offers professional experience supervision for architecture students undertaking work in practice and who are completing a Professional Experience Development Record (PEDR). A completed and signed individual PEDR record is submitted to UWE's Professional Studies Advisor (PSA) for signing and feedback.
Structure:
- Content: A completed and signed individual PEDR record.
- Assessment: The PSA reviews PEDR sheets and comments on the breadth, scope, and adequacy of the professional experience.
Modules:
- PEDR Stage 1 - Architecture (code UBLLPJ-10-3)
Other:
- UWE offers a one-off purchase option for students who do not require a full 12 months of supervision.
- Students undertaking Part 3 who have accrued 6 years or more experience with minimum 12 months work in practice after commencing a Part 2 course may opt to complete Certificates of Professional Experience in lieu of PEDRs.
- PEDR records must be submitted within 2 months of a 3-month period of work.
- Delivery: Supervision by email.
