Program Overview

The Sustainability in the Built Environment program explores the key drivers and trends affecting the built environment and how these relate to the concepts of sustainable development. The program covers various aspects, including sustainable resource use, sustainable urban neighborhoods, delivery of sustainable development, and assessing sustainability. The program is professionally accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and prepares graduates for careers in various sectors of the built environment, including sustainability consultancy, property development, planning and regeneration, government and policy, and environmental NGOs.
