Program Overview

The Theory and Practice in Higher Education module from UWE Bristol is a 30-credit level 7 course that introduces learners to learning and teaching theories, pedagogical research, and evidence-based teaching practices. Through a structured learning journey, participants will critically evaluate teaching strategies, create learner-centered sessions, and experience theoretical and practical aspects of the module content as both learners and teachers. The module is taught by experienced tutors and leading researchers and practitioners and can contribute to the PGCert Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
