This 20-credit, online module in Fundamentals of Cancer Care explores various aspects of cancer's impact on clinical care and society. Participants can opt to study this module at either Level 6 (BSc level) or Level 7 (Masters level) depending on their academic qualifications. Additionally, it emphasizes the principles of proactive management for individuals affected by cancer, including self-care, self-management, and enabling independence. The module culminates in a conference-style poster critically exploring an aspect of cancer care relevant to the participant's practice or learning. This poster will be defended in a viva consisting of a 10-minute presentation and 10-minute question-and-answer session.
