Program Overview

The Haematology module at UWE Bristol is a 30-credit core module within the BSc Biomedical Science program. It covers topics such as haematopoiesis, anaemias, haematological malignancy, haemostasis, blood donation, blood groups, and transfusion therapy. The module is delivered through lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical classes, and is assessed through a case study, a 2-hour examination, and formative feedback.
