Modules:
Year 0 (Foundation Entry):
- FDE Introduction to Specialisms: This module introduces students to the variety of ways in which creative practitioners have shaped society and how society influences creative practice. It helps students acquire foundational skills appropriate to a range of specialist areas and introduces them to the wide range of choices in Arts and Media. Students will be challenged to solve problems through creative practice, including the development of ideas and a broad range of experimental and exploratory work.
- FDE Specialisms: This module helps students understand the fundamental skills relevant to their chosen specialism, as well as develop and practice technical skills in the use of a range of media. Students will also learn critical concepts related to contemporary practice in their chosen specialism and gain a broad understanding of work in a specialism area, preparing them for progression to level 4 study.
