Program Overview

The Animal & Veterinary Science program prepares students for a variety of career options, from livestock management to veterinary science. Students study animal health, growth, and nutrition, and explore topics in animal science, production, and business management.

Program Details

• Degree Fit: This program is a good fit for students who enjoy animal biology or medicine, are interested in the livestock or dairy industry, or are involved in 4-H or other agriculture-related activities.
• Career Outcomes: Graduates can become veterinarians (with additional education), ranch managers, business owners, production managers, sales representatives, marketing directors, consultants, or analysts.
