Examine the Big Questions

What is the difference between right and wrong? How do we get our knowledge? Do humans have free will? What defines reality?


As a philosophy major, you will explore these and other fundamental questions surrounding the nature of human life, reality, and society. You will study the writings of famous philosophers, like Plato and Aristotle, and learn how to think critically and analytically about complex global issues related to politics, justice, professional ethics, the environment, science, and other topics.
