Overview

The Theatre Arts: Design, Technology, Management program is designed to help students develop the creative talent, technical skills, and performance experiences necessary for a future in professional theater. As a theater arts major, students will learn about scene painting, advanced costume technology, theatre (stage) management, and theatrical makeup.

• Program Description: This program will help students develop the creative talent, technical skills, and performance experiences necessary for a future in professional theater. Students will learn about scene painting, advanced costume technology, theatre (stage) management, and theatrical makeup.
• Career Outcomes: With this degree, students could become a director, actor, playwright, scenic lighting and costume designer, stage manager, public relations and marketing officer, technical director, costume shop manager, electrician or master electrician, props manager, makeup designer, carpenter, draper, milliner, cobbler, stitcher, sound designer, sound engineer, or dramaturge.
