This four-year part-time doctorate program combines online and residential learning for individuals in influential educational roles seeking to enhance their e-learning research and technology-enhanced learning (TEL) practice. Participants engage in research methodologies, small-scale studies, and an intensive individual research project supervised by experts.

This innovative, four-year (minimum) part-time structured Doctoral Programme combines online learning and residential teaching. It is for motivated, self-managing individuals who work in positions of influence in any sector of education wishing to develop their e-learning research and technology enhanced learning (TEL) practice. Participants receive structured support in research methodologies and research practice and undertake small-scale studies related to their professional environments. This is followed by a period of intensive individual research supervised by an expert in the field. Participants benefit from a structured set of modules (over two years), residential events, and an online learning community through which they receive support from other participants and tutors.
