Program Overview

The Political Science Programme is a four-year Honours program consisting of a preparatory year and a three-year degree program, with a total of 120 credits required in each year. The program is modular, with modules contributing 10, 20, or 30 credits based on workload. The preparatory year introduces students to Political Science, along with English, Research Methods, History of International Relations, Economics, Information Technology, Public Speaking and Personal Effectiveness, and Statistics. The subsequent three years focus on compulsory and optional modules within mainstream Political Science sub-disciplines. The overall objective is to provide a comprehensive education in political science, building from foundational knowledge to specialized areas of study.
