Course Overview

On successful completion, you will be able to:


  • Examine how different philosophies and psychology theories influence healthcare education practices today.
  • Describe and evaluate the challenges, opportunities, and benefits of using different teaching methods.
  • Analyze and reflect on the role of the educator in supporting the learning of students, trainees, and patients.
  • Create and apply educational theories to plan, prepare, deliver learning activities. You will learn how to appropriately evaluate chosen educational theories.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should:


  • Hold at least 2:2 degree in a medical, dental, or other healthcare discipline or equivalent
  • Be actively engaged in medical or dental or healthcare practice
  • Have an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent.
