Course Overview
This short course is designed to develop an understanding of the science and anatomy related to concussion, head and neck injuries in sports. Students will gain the decision-making and practical skills to deal with these injuries in a sports environment.

Entry Requirements
- Applicants should hold at least a 2:2 degree in a related subject
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor of medicine or Surgery qualification or relevant professional qualification in a related field such as physiotherapy or sports therapy
- Applications from other related professions will be considered on an individual basis
- Be actively engaged in or access clinical experience in a Sports and Exercise Medicine practice to support learning within the programme
- International students require IELTS: Score of at least 6.5 or equivalent
Learning and Assessment
- On-campus sessions will be a mix of keynote lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and peer group discussions
- Practical sessions will allow students to develop and consolidate practical skills
- Assessment will include a practical demonstration of skills and a critical discussion (viva)
