Course Description

Our Professional Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) Degree Apprenticeship is designed to give you a solid understanding of engineering. It combines academic study and on the job training to prepare you for a career in electrical and electronic engineering.

Entry Requirements

• Level 4 entry (Year 1) UCAS: 104 points at A2 including Maths and Physics or STEM at grade C
• BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM in Engineering including Maths units
• Pass Access Course: 104 points including 15 level 3 credits in Maths and Physics or STEM at Merit
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass with 104 points from Higher Level subjects including Higher Level 6 in Maths and Physics or STEM
• T Level: M including Maths and Physics
• IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5
• GCSEs: 5 at grade C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Tuition Fees

• Tuition Fees are paid by an Apprenticeship Levy, so it’s free to you, although you won’t qualify for any funding from Student Finance.

Information for Employers

• An apprentice is employed to do a real job while studying for a formal qualification, usually for one day a week at one of our campuses or training centres.
• This course meets apprenticeship standards and your apprentice will have the knowledge and skills to succeed in their chosen career or progress to the next apprenticeship level.
