Our Tourism Foundation year pathway is an ideal stepping-stone for those who don’t have qualifications to join the first year of a degree. If you are hoping to progress in a professional tourism role, then this is the pathway for you. You’ll explore the tourism industry from a national and global perspective. - UCAS: 64 points at A2
- BTEC Extended Diploma: MPP
- BTEC Diploma: MM
- Pass Access Course: 64 UCAS points
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 72 points from Higher Level subjects
- T Level: P (D or E )
- IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5
- GCSEs: 5 at C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Learning and assessment
- On average, you’ll attend 12 hours of lectures, seminars, tutorials and discussion sessions each week.
- Personal study also forms a big part of this course.
- Your assessment will be a mixture of coursework assignments including essays, reports and presentations with some modules also including examinations or multiple-choice tests.
- You’ll take part in field studies and fieldwork.
