Overview

Our BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (with Foundation Year) is your pathway into the accounting profession. You'll combine academic learning with technical training.

What you'll do

• Once you have progressed onto your degree, you can complete a 48-week paid placement in industry in Year 3.

Entry requirements

• UCAS: 64 points at A2
• BTEC Extended Diploma: MPP
• BTEC Diploma: MM
• Pass Access Course: 64 UCAS points
• International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass including 64 points from Higher Level subjects
• T Level: P (D or E)
• IELTS: 6.0 with no component lower than 5.5
• GCSE: 5 at C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent

Fees and funding

• UK: £5,760 for the first year, £9,535 per year
• International: £17,250 for the first year, £17,325 per year

Learning and assessment

• Teaching and learning methods: lectures, seminars, practical workshops, group activities, personal research, and case studies
• Assessment: essays, reports, oral presentations, group assessments, investigating companies, and tackling briefs from industry
• Exams account for no more than 50 per cent of the final mark (with exception of the accounting modules)
