Learning and assessment
- Throughout the course, you'll attend a mixture of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and practical sessions.
- Independent study is an important aspect of this degree.
- We'll assess you through your coursework, including essays, individual and group presentations, critical reviews of research, reflective learning diaries, portfolios, developing strategies and lesson plans, and designing small-scale research proposals.
- There are no exams on this course.
Advanced entry
- If you already have a teaching qualification such as the Certificate in Education (post-compulsory) or relevant foundation degrees (in Education or Childhood Studies/Early Years), then you can may be able to join the course in Year 2 or 3 depending on your experience and qualifications.
