Overview

Our MSc Supply Chain Management programme will give you the knowledge and skills to launch your career in one of the most dynamic and impactful business functions. You'll understand the greater contexts within which supply chains function, including looking at intra- and inter- organisational relationships, and their wider economic, environmental, and societal implications.

What You'll Do

• Experience engaging lectures with our experienced academics, practitioners, and industry professionals.

• Engage with iROWE (Institute for Research into Organisations, Work and Employment), learning with UCLan’s Centre of Business Management and Enterprise and Centre for SME Development, and accessing knowledge from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

Modules

Compulsory Modules

• Strategic Supply Chain Management and Digitalisation: You'll get a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the concepts of Supply Chain Management and its contribution to the global economy.
• Research Project: You'll learn to be a proficient and analytical researcher in Business and Management through academic or practice-focused research.
• People Management in Supply Chains: You'll examine the contextual factors that shape the management of people from a supply chain management perspective.
• International Business and Finance: Develop a critical approach to understanding the nature of international business, the financial institutions and markets in which it operates, and the regulations controlling the financial sector.
• Sustainable Management and Ethics: In this module, you will learn to understand and critically evaluate ethical, sustainable business practices in a dynamic global marketplace.

Entry Requirements

• Applicants would normally have a degree at Honours Classification 2:2 or above in a related discipline.
• Candidates with professional qualifications and/or work experience are considered on a case-by-case basis.
• For students where English is not their first language, a score of at least 6.0 on IELTS or equivalent is required.

Fees and Funding

• UK: Full-time £9,450 per year, Part-time £1,050 per 20 credits.
• International: Full-time £17,900 per year.

Pathway Opportunities in Supply Chain Management

• Successful completion of the course provides you with the knowledge requirements at Level 7.
• You can upgrade membership to Chartered Member status of the CILT after gaining relevant work experience (fees apply).
• You may progress to Level 8 qualifications (e.g., PhD or DBA) to advance your knowledge within the field, or embark on independent research.
