Course Description

Our cutting-edge Architecture Foundation Year degree teaches you all the architectural theory you’ll need, paired with conservation, sustainability and environmental issues.

What You'll Do

Learning and Assessment

  • Various subject-specific teaching and learning methods are used to ensure students achieve the intended learning outcomes of the course and their professional development is recorded in their Portfolio of work.
  • Design Studio accounts for more than 50% of assessed work (required by RIBA) and is therefore the key element of the course.
  • Assessment of Portfolio takes place at the end of each semester by the studio team and a moderator (course leader or academic lead).
