The Global Applications in One Health and One Welfare is an interdisciplinary course. You'll examine the critical relationships between human, animal, and environmental health and welfare.

What you will do

• Each module runs over 12 weeks, with two blocks of five-weeks online learning material. This is followed by a reading week and assessment.
• You'll take part in online sessions during the online learning weeks to support your studies. You'll engage with other students on the course.
• Throughout your studies, you will receive support to help you achieve your goals. This will be from academic tutors, personal tutors and professional coaches.

Entry requirements

• British Honours Degree 2:2 Class or above or equivalent, in a relevant subject from an approved institution of higher education (e.g. Animal Science, Zoology, Biomedical Science, Bioveterinary Science, Veterinary Nursing) or a degree in Medicine or Veterinary Medicine
• Non-standard applicants are welcomed. Recognition of Prior and Work-Based Learning in accordance with University regulations may be available
• Have sufficient competency in English language (IELTS Level 6.0 or equivalent)

Fees and funding

2025/26

• UK: Online part-time £1,050 per 20 credits

Additional costs

• As part of your course there may be additional costs to consider that are not included in your tuition fees. Most of these will be optional, but some courses have essential additional costs.
