Fundamentals of ECG
Course Overview
Our ECG short course will teach healthcare professionals the principles of ECG. You'll learn how it is used to assess and monitor patients. You'll also learn to interpret normal ECG and changes in various pathological conditions like cardiac rhythm disorders.
Course Content
You'll study how ECG is used for common conditions encountered in cardiology practice. These include:
- Principles and physiology of ECG
- Normal ECG and changes in chamber enlargement
- Ischaemic heart disease and myocardial infarction
- Tachyarrhythmias
- Cardiac conduction tissue disease
- Pericarditis and myocarditis
- Pulmonary embolism and pulmonary hypertension
- Electrolyte abnormalities
- Monitoring of drugs
