Awards
Develop your coaching skills through one of the leading England Netball coaching qualifications. Learn the rules of netball, start to officiate or push yourself to new levels on the officiating courses.
Coaching
The England Netball Level 1 course provides an introduction to coaching the game and working with players, from under 7 to open age. On completion of the course, you'll be able to assist more qualified coaches in delivering elements of coaching sessions.
Officiating
The Into Officiating Course is the first step on the officiating pathway. You'll learn the basic rules of the game, as well as some of the basic positioning and movement. Enabling you to ‘whistle well’ whilst being an umpire. The course is for people new to umpiring and new to the rules of the game. The first part of the award will be virtual sessions. You'll also complete a 15-minute practical assessment (organised by your member county) required to gain the full qualification.
The C Award course is the next step on the umpire pathway for those holders of the Into Officiating Award. It’s perfect if you're aspiring to umpire at a higher level within your County. The course builds on the knowledge you learnt in the Into Officiating award. You'll be introduced to the basics of contact/contest and advantage.
