In today's digital-first economy, understanding how customers think, feel, and decide is key to building powerful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. This bootcamp combines digital marketing knowledge with psychological insight to give participants an edge over their competitors. Through immersive, face-to-face learning, participants will explore topics such as individual differences, social intelligence, brand perception, and leveraging memory and learning in developing effective communication.

This Skills Bootcamp is specifically aimed at individuals who are looking to develop their career in digital marketing through their current employer. It is ideal for Marketing Managers, Marketing Consultants, or Heads of Marketing, with a pathway to more senior roles such as CMO or Marketing Director. It is also suitable for business owners or anyone working in a customer-focused or growth-driven role within an SME, agency, or third-sector organization.
Structure
The bootcamp is structured through a mixture of live tutor-led interactive sessions, practical insights, visits, and self-study resources. Alongside this, learners will be supported by an industry mentor who has extensive experience of working within the sector. The 8-week program will cover:
- Week 1: Individual differences and mindset, customer research, social listening, and competitor audits
- Week 2: Social intelligence, content creation with Adobe
- Week 3: Brand perception 1, grabbing a customer's attention online, and overall brand personality
- Week 4: Brand perception 2, engaging customers with persuasive messaging and creative use of audio and visual information, advertising
- Week 5: Influencers, company spokesperson, and paid influencers' effect on brand perception, organic social media
- Week 6: Memory and learning, role of memory recall in decision-making, email and direct messaging
- Week 7: Assessment of prices, how customers compare prices and evaluate the value of a product, website and SEO
- Week 8: Involvement, measuring the degree to which customers are engaged with a brand, analytics
Prices and Dates
The full course fee is 」3,231.40, but SME employers pay just 10% - only 」323.14 per learner, as the bootcamp is 90% government-funded for SME employees. For large organization employers, the bootcamp is 70% government-funded, with the employer paying 30% - 」969.42 per learner.

On successful completion of the Skills Bootcamp, participants will receive a digital badge from UWE Bristol demonstrating their attendance and learning through the taught sessions and portfolio tasks.
