BSc(Hons) Biomedical Science (with Foundation Year)

The BSc(Hons) Biomedical Science (with Foundation Year) is a four-year full-time or five-year sandwich course that provides strong practical skills in the biomedical sciences field. The course is accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) and offers the option to gain a year's work experience with a leading employer in the UK or abroad.

Structure

The course consists of four years of full-time study or five years of sandwich study. The foundation year includes modules such as Biology in Practice, Chemistry in Practice, Skills for Science, and Investigating and Communicating Science. The subsequent years cover a range of topics, including:
