The British University in Egypt offers a programme for STEM high school students at the BUE Science and Innovation Park.

Overview

The CTP Programme for STEM High School Students was held from 28 to 31 July 2024. It featured a lecture series by CTP members, student projects, and training courses. The tutorials covered topics such as:

• Elementary introductions to cosmology and galaxy formation
• Special and general relativity
• Quantum mechanics and particle physics

The programme received almost a thousand applications from various types of high schools in Egypt, and a subset of STEM students were chosen for this first event.
