Entry Requirements

• A levels: AAB, with considerations for applicants with A level Computing, Computer Science, or Mathematics
• Access to HE Diploma: 36 Level 3 credits at Distinction plus 9 Level 3 credits at Merit
• Advanced Skills Baccalaureate Wales: Accepted in place of one A level
• BTEC Extended Diploma: DDD
• International Baccalaureate: 35 points overall with 16 points from the best 3 HL subjects
• GCSE requirements: Mathematics grade 6/B, English Language grade 4/C
• English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in each component

Course Structure

The program is divided into three years, with core and optional modules in each year. Core modules include Digital Systems, Fundamentals of Computer Science, Software Development A and B, HCI: Designing for People, Networks and Systems, Secure Systems and Data Engineering, and Software Engineering Studio. Optional modules cover a range of topics, including Contemporary Topics in Computing, DevOps, Matrices and Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms, and more.

• Additional costs may include clothing for laboratory use, books, stationery, printing, and subsistence on trips and visits.
