University Program Information

The university offers a range of language courses through its Centres Linguapolis. These courses cater to various languages, including Arabic, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Swahili.


Course Details

  • The English language course is structured into different levels, with each level having its own schedule and course code.
  • The course content is designed to stimulate intensive learning, with classes held two evenings a week.
  • Students have ample opportunities to practice what they have learned, and the interaction with the language teacher, learning from each other, and personal commitment are key to success.

Course Structure

  • In the elementary and intermediate levels, all lessons are scheduled on campus, with the possibility of occasional live online classes (e.g., catch-up classes or during public transport strikes).
  • In the advanced levels, one lesson per week is scheduled on campus, and one lesson is taught live online.

Course Schedule

  • The course runs for 10 weeks, with 2 evenings of classes per week, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
  • The setting for the course is Stadscampus, with some levels also offering online classes.
  • The course codes and corresponding levels are as follows:
    • CST-E2604-1+2: Levels 1 and 2, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays
    • CST-E2604-3: Level 3, held on Mondays and Wednesdays
    • CST-E2604-4: Level 4, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays
    • CST-E2604-5: Level 5, held on Mondays and Wednesdays, with both on-campus and online classes
    • CST-E2604-6: Level 6, held on Mondays and Wednesdays, with both on-campus and online classes
    • CST-E2604-7: Level 7, held on Mondays and Wednesdays, with both on-campus and online classes

Additional Information

  • Each hour of class requires at least 0.5 hours of self-study.
