Program Overview


Introduction to the Junior Managers Programme

The Junior Managers Programme (JuMP) is an extra competence development track for students of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE). This program is designed for FBE master's students in their final year, aiming to better prepare them for policy functions in their later career.


Objective of the Junior Managers Programme

The objective of JuMP is to refine the (potential) management skills of selected students through interactive sessions. The goal is not to acquire additional theoretical insights but to further strengthen the skills of the students. Guest speakers come from large organizations, innovative companies, advisory and management schools, and have extensive experience.


Practical Information

  • For whom? 25 selected final-year master's students in Business Engineering, Economic Policy, Business Engineering in Policy Informatics, and Social Economic Sciences.
  • When? February - March 2026 (6 Tuesday evenings from 18:30 to 21:00)

Description of the Programme

During JuMP, the management skills of the selected students are refined through interactive sessions. After the sessions, there is always an opportunity to network with fellow students and guest speakers. The program is an extra competence development track that stands apart from the curriculum, helping FBE master's students in their final year to be better prepared for policy functions in their later career.
